This album features pianist Claire Huangci’s masterful interpretation of Bach’s seven Toccatas, showcasing her profound expertise in Baroque repertoire. It opens with Busoni’s arrangement of the famous Toccata and Fugue in D minor BWV 565, romantically transposing the originally organ work to the piano, setting a brilliant and dramatic tone for the entire album.
