Franco-Belgian cellist Camille Thomas presents Philip Glass for cello, a 2026 Decca France album devoted to the hypnotic, luminous world of Philip Glass. The programme ranges from the Naqoyqatsi suite and the tender “Truman Sleeps” to Etudes, Symphony for Eight and the three movements of Cello Concerto No. 1. With arrangements by Oliver Jockel and others, Thomas brings singing warmth and nuanced drama to Glass’s repeating patterns, joined by piano, cello ensemble and orchestra.
